HI I'm taz i live in aberangell ( no where ) i have a 17hh chesnut belgium warmblood gelding creature thing and a hugely fat cob cross shire cross hippo
LOL, just found a rather comical advert on H2000 website, on the 'wanted' page -
"Hiya I Am A 13 Year Old Girl And I go To Riding Lessons. I Only Go Once A Week And It Would Be Luvley For Me To Be Able To Practise What I Have Already Learnt. I Would Happily Muck Out ect ect So I Could Rde As Much As I Want. I Am Not Avaible On Mornings But Anytime After 3 Is Ok On Weekdays But Not Avaible Everyday. No Horse Bigger Than 17hh Please And Somewhere In South Yorkshire Please Contact"
Maybe If She Didn't Write Like This With A Capital Letter For Every Word - and the "I Am Not Avaible On Mornings But Anytime After 3 Is Ok On Weekdays But Not Avaible Everyday" wouldn't exactly make me confident in her either. Also, no bigger than 17hh - can't imagine anyone would let her have anything bigger, unless she's a 13 year old giant..
My name is Bee, I'm 22, and I currently live in the USA, though I am English and learnt to ride in England. I'm originally from Surrey, and I've been riding since I was eight years old. Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure of owning/loaning a horse or pony, so I make do with scrounging free rides where I can get them. Whenever I go back to England to visit, I stock up on my horsey mags. I haven't ridden in a few years due to money (it is insanely expensive over here, it's unreal), but when I did, I used to order from Robinson's and have the order shipped to my grandmother's house so my mum could pick it up. I know, sneaky!
I was back in England over christmas, and I visited my friend Sam. She and her mum share a gorgeous Welsh-D cross named Monty, and for the first time in nine years, I've felt comfortable in a stableyard. I think I am destined to be an English horsewoman through and through.
I also think William Fox-Pitt is dead sexy, and I will watch him jump anyday.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Kate and I'm the mod. I live in Mid Wales, and I am currently horseless although I will be getting a horse on loan hopefully in the next few weeks for the Summer. I used to have an arab cross mare but she died at the grand old age of 32, back in January 2005.
I've been riding since I was 7 years old, and I'm 22 now.
